About the Recipe

Dehydrated Blood Oranges are wonderful and easy to make. Great to eat as a snack, use in baked goods, steep with hot water for tea and even potpourri.

Ingredients

Ingredients: 

Blood Oranges – 2-3 oranges per tray 

 

Tools Needed: 

Knives 

Mandolin or V-slicer 

Clean Storage Container  

Dehydrator/oven 

Preparation

 

  1. Slice blood oranges with mandolin or knife into 1/8 - ¼ inches in thickness 

  2. Lay slices on trays, do not overlap 

  3. Place trays in dehydrator 

  4. Set temperature to 135 degrees 

  5. Dehydrate 6-12 hours, check after 3
