Dehydrated Blood Oranges are wonderful and easy to make. Great to eat as a snack, use in baked goods, steep with hot water for tea and even potpourri.
Ingredients
Ingredients:Â
Blood Oranges – 2-3 oranges per trayÂ
Â
Tools Needed:Â
KnivesÂ
Mandolin or V-slicerÂ
Clean Storage Container Â
Dehydrator/ovenÂ
Preparation
Â
Slice blood oranges with mandolin or knife into 1/8 - ¼ inches in thicknessÂ
Lay slices on trays, do not overlapÂ
Place trays in dehydratorÂ
Set temperature to 135 degreesÂ
Dehydrate 6-12 hours, check after 3Â
