About the Recipe
Another delicious shrub that is so versatile! Use for a glaze, add to sparkling water or use for a salad dressing. Really tasty!
Ingredients
1Â C granulated sugarÂ
Peel from one medium grapefruitÂ
1Â C fresh grapefruit segments
 1 cup apple cider vinegar*Â

MuddlerÂ
Vegetable PeelerÂ
Sieve or Coffee FilterÂ
Clean Storage Container Â
Preparation
Place sugar in a large pitcher or mason jar. Â
Add grapefruit peel and muddle together to release oils from peel. Â
Add grapefruit segments and continue to muddle. Â
Allow mixture to sit for 10 minutes. Â
Stir in vinegar. Â
Cover and let steep in the fridge for 2-4 days, depending on desired flavor profile. Â
Strain out solids. Â
Store syrup in the fridge until ready to use. Â
